Hackathon 2k19 organized by CSI Student Chapter Chitkara University Baddi

Computer Society of India (CSI) student chapter at Chitkara University, Baddi organized one of the most acclaimed events of the year, the Hackathon-2k19 on 22nd January, 2019. Students from around the departments and academic year gathered & participated in the highly competitive hackathon for the purpose of finding innovating and out of the box solution to the problem statement. The objective in hand was to build a platform for the Government of India to boost its dream of becoming a start-up nation. Bridging the gap amidst corporates and innovators was one of the prime objectives that students were made to fulfil. Over 110 students participated and overwhelmed the event with their technical expertise in technologies such as C++, Java, SQL, MongoDB and much more. The event showcased prizes up to Rs. 15,000/-. In the end, students submitted their innovations to the Computer Society of India. The event experienced fruitful collaboration amongst team members and a knight & shining competition amidst different teams. Based on the evaluation of the team’s projects, the team comprising Sarthak Jain, Shobhit Sinha & Nikhil Rana were declared Winners, the team comprising Rajat Gupta, Prashant Tiwari & Aditya Singh were declared 1st Runner Up and the team comprising Manas Sharma, Vivek Sharma & Vaibhav Haswani were declared 2nd Runner Up.
