Expert Session on Quick Heal Technologies organized at Chitkara University Baddi

Department of Computer Science & Engineering and CSI organized an expert session on Quick Heal Technologies by Quick Heal Academy on cyber threat and security measures. The session was for about 2 hours. Mr Vishal Kumar and Mr Rahul Mishra from Quick Heal were the guest speakers. Above 150 CSE students and faculty attended the expert session. Quick Heal Academy (QHA) is a premier institute engaged in supporting and securing the cyberspace. QHA imparts cybersecurity education programs globally with an objective of building a talent pool of cybersecurity professionals. QHA is committed to providing awareness around the ever-changing and evolving cyber security domain and creating security professionals that help deter the threats with the strong cyber skill-sets. Various types of security threats were discussed like Advanced Persistent Threats, Phishing, Trojans, Botnets, Ransomware, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Wiper Attacks, Intellectual Property Theft. Students were exposed to the security mechanism and protocols to be followed by cybersecurity professionals. They were informed about various products designed by quick heal and their working strategies. Various departments working on different fields were discussed with the students.
